What documents are needed and the conditions for renting a car

Each rental company has its own conditions on which the client can get a car for short-term use. To rent a vehicle, the client must follow several rules. In particular, each client is obliged to have a driver's license with him, which confirms the right to drive a specific type of transport, a foreign passport, a credit card.

A bank card is needed to deposit the amount of a deposit for a car in case of unforeseen situations. The deposit is frozen on the card and cannot be used until the car is returned. In case of damage to the car or other unpleasant surprises, this amount will be debited from the card as expenses. Well, if the client returns the car safe and sound, the amount will be unfrozen.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pay a deposit for the car rental in cash. The card must be issued for the driver. Please note: the rental period is measured in hours, its beginning must be indicated in the contract. In addition, any driver who has reached the age of 25 can rent a vehicle. All others can count on renting on special terms and at a higher rate.

Tourists often ask if an international driver's license is required to conclude a rental agreement? Some companies are not ready to provide a car for use without this document. There are several options for the fuel package:

Full / Empty - the client chooses whether to return the car with a full or empty fuel tank. At the same time, he can receive transport immediately with a full tank or pay for its cost;
Full / Empty B - you need to pay for the first tank of fuel, but you need to return the car to the office with an empty tank;
Half / Half - you are obliged to return the car with the same amount of fuel that was in the tank at the time of receiving the vehicle. Moreover, if you have just refueled, the cost of excess fuel will not be refunded to you.

Additional services

When concluding a contract, do not forget to indicate the need to install additional equipment in the car or to include additional conditions in the rental conditions. The rental price depends on its duration and the type of car. For example, driving around Prague in a mini car during the day will cost only 1900-2400 rubles (remember, gasoline is paid separately). For a modern family car, you will have to pay from 3,700 to 5,400 rubles per day. Well, for the opportunity to flaunt in a sports coupe or a premium car, customers will have to pay 14-16 thousand rubles per day of pleasure.

Since Prague can be classified as one of the compact but densely populated cities in Europe, it is very difficult to find parking here.
